UNIVERSITY OF SAN CARLOS - CHEMICAL ENGINEERING CLUB

The University of San Carlos - Chemical Engineering Club (USC - ChEC) is an extra-curricular organization of the University of San Carlos that was founded on 1993 with a common goal to inspire young chemical engineering students in pursuing their career. 

Position/s:

Creative Committee

Established every task involved in the creative advertising aspects of an event, such as conceptualization of promotional materials. Supervised the rest of the creative committee in the development of graphic and creative publication materials.

Cybersecretary

Consolidated the electronic documents of the organization. Administered the e-mail, group chats, and social media accounts of the organization. Promulgated important announcements of any upcoming organizational activities within and outside the organization through the online platform.

President

Administered the general supervision of the members in every activity or event proposed or implemented by the organization. Presided over all the regular and special meetings of the organization. Represented the organization in some ceremonies, transactions, and meetings within the university and co-school organizations. Proposed 10 activities and supervised more than 20 regular and special meetings.

Projects proposed or organized: Chemical Engineering Starter Kit, USC - ChEC Leadership Training 2022, USC - ChEC Membership Training 2023: First Wave, Midterm ChECtorials, Finals ChECtorials, USC - ChEC Membership Training 2023: Second Wave, Adopt-a-Community: Tech Transfer, Carolinian Brand of Chemical Engineer Webinar, USC - ChEC Pearl Anniversary, Adopt-a-Classroom: Science for Kids, USC - ChEC Leadership Training 2023, 14th Cebu Citywide Cleanup Challenge, Adopt-a-Community: Empow-HER-ing through Suds, Adopt-a-Community: Crafting Suds and Scents, Revision of the 1993 Constitution and By Laws of USC - Chemical Engineering Club.

UNIVERSITY OF SAN CARLOS - CHEMICAL ENGINEERING COUNCIL

The University of San Carlos - Chemical Engineering Council is a co-curricular organization of the University of San Carlos. The council is the governing student body in the University of San Carlos, Department of Chemical Engineering.

2021-2022

Position/s:

Information Committee Head

Managed the group page and social media accounts of the council. Disseminated general announcements and important information to the chemical engineering student body across different platforms.

Vice President for External Affairs

Acted as an official representative of the council in all ceremonies, and transactions. Assisted the year level presidents and the standing committees of the council in every problem encountered concerning the chemical engineering body and addressing it to the president. Coordinated with other course councils within the university during events handled by the School of Engineering.

DEPARTMENT OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY - SCHOLARS' ASSOCIATION (DOST SA USC)

The Department of Science and Technology - Scholars' Association in University of San Carlos (DOST SA USC) is a non-profit, socioacademic organization of DOST Scholars in the University of San Carlos that promotes academic excellence, leadership, and community engagement among its members.

Position/s:

Intellectual Committee Head

Directly involved in academic-related affairs and activities, which included student learning and enhancement. Worked directly with Programs and Events Committee during such activities. Scientia activities include: seminars, workshops, and mentorships
